Hello and welcome to Herne Bay Folk.
 
            It is a non-profit-making initiative to promote and develop Folk for the Community and increase awareness in its diversity.

Our aim is to offer events and develop artists by providing exposure and promoting them in both the folk world and the wider live music arena.

Currently we run regular acoustic sessions for all to participate whatever the level or type of instrument, song or music. Monthly sessions include Herne Bay Folk Club at Hampton Bay Park and the "Anchor Twanchors" at the Anchor in Wingham.
We also provide Live Music events on both One-off and regular bases. The weekly - Friday Night Live at the Phoenix in Canterbury and the Monthly Herne Bay Blues Club held at Hampton Bay Park are current examples. [Please contact us for more information about these events].
But, the major focus for Herne Bay Folk [It's why it was first established] is to plan and organise the Herne Bay Folk Festival
